Welcome to Adcock Games Update #3(11/1/2017) I haven't done much with this site while I have been at university, but I will try to add games here and there. WC baseball camp
Warren Central will host its annual youth baseball camp June 11-14 at Viking Field. The camp is for children ages 5-14, and focuses on teaching baseball fundamentals and sportsmanship through various drills and games. Instructors include Warren Central coaches and players.
The cost is $100 per camper. Registration is at the WC baseball fieldhouse from 7:30 to a.m. on June 11. The camp will run from 8 a.m. to noon each day.
Players should bring cleats, shorts, T-shirt, tennis shoes, a baseball glove, sunscreen, towel and change of clothes on Friday. The final day of the camp includes sliding drills on a wet tarp.

Par-Busters Golf tourney
The 43rd annual Par-Busters Golf Club Community Service Golf Tournament is scheduled for June 1-3 at Clear Creek Golf Course in Bovina. The entry fee is $160 per person, or $80 for juniors, and includes a practice round on Friday and tournament rounds Saturday and Sunday. Awards will be given for longest drive and closest to the pin as well as for the tournament.
The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Star-Spangled Night Run
The Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation will present the first Star Spangled Night Run on June 30 in downtown Vicksburg. The 5K run and walk will begin at 8 p.m., and the start-finish line will be at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center.
Registration is now open. The fee is $30 for adults or $15 for children 12 and under. Entry forms and information are available by visiting southernculture.org/events, or by calling 601-631-2997 or emailing info@southernculture.org.

Race packet pick-up will be June 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the SCHF Auditorium on the corner of Crawford and Cherry Streets, and also before the race at the race site starting at 6 p.m.
MSU basketball camps
Mississippi State’s women’s basketball team will host several youth camps this summer on the Starkville campus.
The Skills Camp is scheduled for June 3-5. It is open to players in grades 5-12 and costs $200 for commuters and $275 for residents.
The Day Camp will be held June 11-14 and is open to players in grades 2-7. Running from 8 a.m. to noon each day, the camp is designed to teach fundamental skills through drills and other fun competitions. Cost for the Day Camp is $100.
Mississippi State’s final camp is the Team Shootout Camp. Teams can attend June 15 or 16, and cost is $300 per team (12 players and two coaches) per day, plus $25 for each additional player or coach.

Mississippi State’s women’s volleyball team will host its High School Team Camp, July 13-15, on the Starkville campus. The camp is for high school teams only. Team strategies as opposed to individual skills will be emphasized and competition among other schools will take place during each session. Participating schools must have at least eight players, with a maximum of 12.
